Moving on from the arguably more approachable first two episodes, After DDark takes us later into the night and into the realms of melodic and minimal house and techno. It won't be for everyone, and for those that give it the chance, these tracks absolutely deliver with a journey of rich harmonic story-telling that keeps you engaged the entire way through. Whilst minimal in nature, these tracks have been selected with your attention in mind, and they are most rewarding when giving them your full attention, something that music rarely enjoys these days. So put away your distractions, get out of your head and practise some active listening for full enjoyment. Or why not clear the living room furniture and move your body to the music?!
