The completion of the triptych: Maximal

My last blog post, going back now several months, discussed my plans to being publishing more music, including a screenshot of publishing the track, 'Minimal'. We have now fast-forwarded past the second track, 'Medial' and onto the final chapter in the triptych.

Maximal completes the triptych, following previous tracks Medial and Minimal. Its visual album cover as well as audial complexity mirror its track title. Maximal is the most complex of the three with a symphonic-like layering of motifs and melodic lines. While the intro/exit of various sounds lends itself to house music, its harmonic complexity and overall form land it very much cross-genre. Regardless of whatever label you choose to apply to it, Maximal will certainly capture your attention.

I am beginning a new process of having a four-week cadence. By the time Maximal now drops on 20Jun21 at 8:31pm Pacific Daylight Time (summer solstice), I will have completed my next track (yet to be started), which will then begin its own four week countdown to release. So while you have now almost four weeks to wait for Maximal to arrive in your favour online music store or streaming service, you can:
